To all who are weary and need rest;
to all who mourn and long for comfort;
to all who feel worthless and wonder if God cares;
to all who fail and desire strength;
to all who sin and need a Saviour;
to all who hunger and thirst for righteousness;
and to whoever will come —
This church opens wide her doors and offers her welcome in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the friend of sinners.
Sundays are at the heart of what we’re about. We begin the week at its high point and go out from a place of knowing and experiencing God’s grace.

When we meet
We meet at 10am for Morning Worship and 5pm for Evening Fellowship.
Morning Worship
Our Sunday worship is structured to tell the story of the good news about Jesus. Sundays together begin with a call to worship, as the living God, our good Shepherd, addresses us who have wondered from him back to himself and calls us to adore him. We respond to him in song and prayer with reverence and awe.
The confession of our sins shows us how great he is and how far short we fall of his glory, that although the penalty for our sin was paid for on the cross, yet its presence still remains. But God then speaks words of assurance of our forgiveness in Jesus, as we hear from the Bible.
The high point is the sermon when God addresses us. The Holy Spirit works in and through the proclamation of God’s Word to save sinners, make Christ’s people holy, and build his church.
When we open the word of God, our longing is for Christ himself to come and make himself known to the hearts of those listening. When the Bible is taught, God speaks. God’s word, does God’s work, by God’s Spirit, and transforms God’s people for our good and his glory.
We respond again in prayer and song and service ends with God sending us out, renewed and restored, with his word of promise to us in the gospel.
Evening Fellowship
John Calvin used to have the kids in with the adults in the morning and the adults in the with kids in the evening.
This is a model that evening fellowship is based upon.
It is more informal than the morning and we sit around tables enjoying tea, coffee and biscuits.
In the evening we usually all begin together with Teaching Together before we split into Digging Deeper where the Primary School aged children leave for more age appropriate teaching and everyone else digs deeper into what we are learning.
In the evening we look at areas such as key doctrines of the Christian faith together, key themes in the Bible, what it looks like to follow Jesus and help others follow Jesus in key areas of life. It’s interactive, stretching and great fun as we dialogue together. Sometimes we take a break in the holidays for evening fellowship, so be sure to check out our term card.
Families, Children and Young People
The Church family meeting with God
We believe that children are as much a part of the church family as adults, and therefore we encourage children to join us as we praise God and listen to his Word being taught.
Throughout the Bible, worshipping God has always been something families do together. They learn how to worship God, how to listen to God’s word and if God is directly addressing us we want them there with us.
Your children may not be used to staying in for the whole service, but please encourage them to do so and let them know that we love to have them! We love the energy that God has given to our children. During the service, worksheets will be put on a table at the back of the hall for children to take and work through to help them listen. On the front of the sheet there are key words to listen out for and count. On the back of the worksheet there are spaces to help the children learn to listen well to sermons. Feel free to talk quietly with your children during the service: it’s always good to see parents explain things in a way that’s helpful to them. If things get a bit much for their children there is a lot of space in the foyer for them, to have a breather.
If you would like someone to sit with your children to help them, please speak to the people who welcomed you. We want to help in any way we can.
There is a non-supervised crèche in the Hayward Room, should you wish to use it, across the other side of the vestibule.
Digging Deeper
Our Sunday School, Digging Deeper, takes place in the evening. After some time together, those in Primary School leave to the Hayward Room where they receive fun teaching from the Bible, games and craft.

It’s a fun, welcoming space to explore faith, understand scripture and build friendships.

Why Join Us?
Each Sunday the church family gathers together to worship God, encourage one another in following Jesus and care for one another. We are a young and small church plant, but we trust a great God who is committed to his church and saving the lost through his Word, the Bible. We believe in creating a welcoming space where you can explore faith at your own pace, ask questions, and find a community that feels like home.
Get Involved
Ready to join us? Simply come along to one of our Sunday services at the Focus Community Centre. No need to sign up or wear anything special—just show up, and we’ll take care of the rest. We can’t wait to meet you and share in the joy of worshipping together!
