As a church family we give money thoughtfully and generously in response to God’s lavish love for us. Giving is an act of worship.
Many give electronically, through a standing order or Stewardship, however there is a box on the welcome desk on a Sunday where you can give your offering. If you are visiting us today, please do not feel under any obligation to contribute.
Giving from the UK
Most of our income comes through monthly standing orders. This helps us to budget and is a simple way for you to maintain your regular giving, through a settled decision, even if you miss a Sunday.
You can set up a standing order, or give a one-off, with your online banking or branch.

If you are a UK tax payer, filling and returning a Gift Aid Declaration means we can claim a further 25% from your financial gift. You can fill one by following this link.

Giving from the US
We’re so grateful for our brothers and sisters in the US who invest in us through prayer, mission and giving. If you are a US resident, we have several options allowing you to financially support the work here.
The options are outlined below, but if you have any questions, please get in touch and we will help you find the best solution for your giving.
If you are a church looking to give, the best way to do so is to contact us first.
If you are an individual looking to give, giving through the UK Partnership (UKP) means US donors will receive an IRS Tax Receipt for their contribution, as the UKP is a 501(c) (3) organisation.
Option 1
Give through the UK Partnership via Check.
- Write a check to the United Kingdom Partnership
- Note Galashiels Free Church in the memo line of the check or send an accompanying note requesting the funds be sent to Galashiels Free Church
- Mail the check to: United Kingdom Partnership, PO Box 118, Lookout Mountain, TN 37350
- Checks must be postmarked in the year you wish them to be deductible for.
